Mandela Award Site in World Heritage Conservation Row (16 November 2010)
 
A team of experts from UNESCO arrives at Mapungubwe this week to assess the impact that the Vele mine might have on the the famous Mapungubwe World Heritage Site.  The site is now the setting of a conflict that has launched an international environmental campaign against an Australia-based coal mining company.
