16 Days of Activism.

[Please note these articles below are for your information but are not necessarily written by ourselves.]

The Sixteen Days of Activism campaign runs between 25 November and 10 December when activists raise heightened awareness around gender violence.

The campaign began in 1991 and since then has brought various stakeholders including gender activists, civil society, governments, private sector, Faith Based Organisations, communities and development partners to find lasting strategies to end gender violence.

There are many things that you can do to mark the 16 Days of Activism. Participate in a local event marking the campaign; donate funds to a local or national charity or NGO or, most importantly, help in the reporting or investigating of abuse against women and children.

For more information on how you can help us at Nomad African Trust to make a change, not only for the 16 days marked on our calendar, check out our beneficiaries for info on some of the projects we support with your help and become a donor.  Time to make a change.
